All About Lavender
Whilst you can brew lavender tisane using fresh buds from the garden, dried flowers tend to give a more well-rounded flavour. There’s the classic floral notes, sure, but underneath are all sorts of interesting things: hints of rosemary, minty sharpness, wisps of smoke or pops of sweet green apple. It really depends on the blend. Native to the Mediterranean and North Africa, wild grown Lavandula angustifolia is known for its calming and restorative properties. Lavender tea is a wonderful (and delicious) antidote to stress. It can also reduce inflammation, boost immune health and support good digestion.
